MIAMI GETS READY TO FLY ON WHEELS: THE COUNTDOWN TO MIAMI INLINE MARATHON 2026 BEGINS
On November 1, Doral (Florida) will host the third edition of the Miami Inline Marathon, an international event bringing together speed skaters, endurance athletes and inline skating enthusiasts for a day fueled by a passion for skating.

Miami backs speed skating once again
International speed skating has another date to circle on the calendar. On Sunday, November 1, Doral, in the Miami metropolitan area, will host the third edition of the Miami Inline Marathon 2026.
The competition aims to establish itself as a meeting point for athletes, clubs and skating enthusiasts from different countries, combining a competitive spirit with a true celebration of the sport.
With a philosophy that brings together speed, endurance and community, the organizers are creating an event open to both experienced skaters and those looking to take on their first challenges on wheels.
Three distances, one shared challenge
The 2026 edition will feature three main distances, catering to different levels of fitness and experience:
5 miles (8,05 km): one lap of the road circuit, designed for those making their competitive debut or looking to enjoy a fast, short-distance race.
15 miles (24,14 km): three laps that will test endurance, strategy and the ability to maintain pace.
25 miles (40,23 km): five laps of the course and the most demanding race, with a dedicated Elite Pro division.
The race will take place in Doral on a road circuit of approximately five miles per lap, where managing effort, working together in the pack and making tactical decisions could prove decisive.
A race where strategy matters too
In long-distance racing, speed is only part of the story.
Taking turns at the front of the pack, drafting behind other skaters, choosing the right moment to attack and maintaining endurance over the final kilometers can make the difference between fighting for victory and missing out on the top positions.
The Miami Inline Marathon will offer a particularly compelling setting for those who enjoy road racing, where every move can change the outcome.
More than a competition: an international community on wheels
One of the Miami Inline Marathon’s main attractions is its commitment to bringing different types of skaters together at a single event.
From high-performance athletes to club members and recreational skaters, everyone shares one goal: to enjoy the experience of racing and push beyond their own limits.
This third edition also offers another opportunity to raise the profile of inline skating in Estados Unidos and foster sporting exchanges between communities from different countries.
Registration open for the 2026 edition
Registration remains open through the official RaceResult platform, where prospective participants can check categories, entry requirements and the corresponding fees.
Helmets will be mandatory throughout the competition. Headphones and warm-ups on the race road circuit will not be permitted, in accordance with the organizers’ safety rules.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, in Doral, Florida, with the start and finish planned for the NW 97th Avenue area.
Miami is ready for another day of speed
As its third edition draws closer, the Miami Inline Marathon once again puts the spotlight on a discipline that combines sacrifice, strategy and spectacle.
For some, it will be a chance to fight for victory. For others, the challenge will be to conquer a new distance. But everyone will share that unique feeling known only to those who put on their skates, line up at the start and wait for the signal to go.
Because in Miami, on November 1, the passion for skating will be set in motion once again.
